This hand-knotted wool vintage Afghan Karabin Enssi prayer rug features a double mihrab surrounded by horizontal star bands and vertical compartment bands filled with stylized flowers. The double mihrab compartment is surrounded by seven vertical columns of serrated V-shapes. Each mihrab displays a horn-shape motif above the mihrab. It is enclosed with quincunx motifs and double Ram's Horn border.
