Wabi-Sabi meets rustic charm in this hand-knotted wool vintage Moroccan rug. The intrinsic tribal design and sunbaked earth-tone colors woven into this piece work together creating a coveted laid-back style. An allover pattern composed of diamonds, X-shapes, V-shapes and lozenges dominate the richly striated field. Additional geometric shapes and ambiguous tribal motifs furtner ornament the composition. Rather than seeking perfection, the natural abrash gradations authenticate this vintage Moroccan rug while making it more interesting than mass-produced pieces.
