Description
21159 Modern Beni Mrirt Moroccan High-Low Rug, 07'01 x 09'10.
With a strong sense of dimensionality and asymmetry, this hand-woven contemporary Berber Moroccan Kilim rug is engaging, yet well balanced creating a striking visual effect. It is made with a unique flatweave Souf technique of hand-woven wool with a high and low pile. The brick red striated field features a raised lozenge lattice composed of an all-over diamond pattern across the tantalizing composition. Imbued with brick red hues with russet and beige tones, the rich waves of abrash of painterly-like brush strokes and softly gradated striations run selvage to selvage blending seamlessly from one to the next. The blending of colors harmonize one another, creating the perfect design and emanating function and versatility while staying true to the authentic spirit of Berber Tribe culture.
Rendered in variegated shades of brick red, beige, russet, cinnamon, and rust with other neutral accent colors. Berber Tribes of Morocco. Abrash. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Morocco. Measures: 07'01 x 09'10. Brand New. In-Stock.
