This hand knotted wool vintage Pakistani rug beautifully displays a Persian design. It features a cusped cream medallion anchored with pendants floating on an abrashed clay-pot colored backdrop. The medallion is surrounded by arabesque vines, acanthus leaves, blooming palmettes, and lotus flowers. It is enclosed with elegant taupe spandrels in each corner a classic Herat border flanked with inner and outer meander guard bands.
