The abrashed navy blue field features a circular 16-point centre medallion flanked by a ring of sixteen pointed ovals surrounded by an all-over floral pattern composed of blooming palmettes, serrated leaves, stylized flowers and arabesque vines. Chandelier lamps hang at each end of the medallion and complementary spandrels echo the medallion design. The Kirman rug is framed by a classic cloudband cartouche border and flanked with inner and outer guard bands.
