75664 Vintage Persian Tabriz Rug with The Ardabil Carpet Design 11'07 x 17'04.
Inspired from the Ardabil carpet from the Safavid dynasty. This hand-knotted wool vintage Persian Tabriz palace size rug features a circular 16-point centre medallion flanked by a ring of sixteen pointed ovals surrounded by an all-over floral pattern composed of blooming palmettes, serrated leaves, stylized flowers and arabesque vines. Chandelier lamps hang at each end of the medallion and complementary spandrels echo the medallion design. The Persian Tabriz rug is framed by a classic cloudband cartouche border and flanked with an outer guard border and an inner double guard band.
