This hand-knotted wool antique Persian Malayer runner features an all-over geometric pattern composed of Guli Henna which is the Flower of Hinnai also known as Guli Hinnai; a central stem plant with star flowers on either side. It is enclosed with creamy-beige spandrels filled with blooming boteh motifs and framed with a crenelated guard border and rectilinear variation of the meander border. With its bold elemental nature and beautiful color palette, this antique Malayer carpet runner is immersed in Persian history and embodies true rectilinear style.
