They eye-catching Herati design and traditional color palette woven into this piece work together creating a truly classic look. A hooked pole medallion decorated with Herati motifs runs along the center of the open navy blue field. Small animal motifs and eight-point stars further ornament the composition. Jagged ziggurats, stylized floral bouquets, birfs, and pinwheel symbols frame the inner edges. The corner spandrels echo the Herati pole medallion. It is framed with a geometric border enclosed with an inner and outer carnation meander guard band.
