Each panel contains stylized lotuses, vines, rosettes, leaves and six-pointed stars. The stepped corner spandrels echo the large blossom motif that adorns the center medallion. The wide lotus meander main border is offset by a sawtooth inner border and a rosette and pinwheel outer guard border.
