With it's timeless elegance and regal charm, this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Qum rug features a lively botanical hunting scene of flora and fauna. The beige colored field displays an all-over garden pictorial embellished with lush trees, florals, serrated leaves, birds, antelope, leopards, hyacinth, tree of life motifs, leafy tendrils, and floral sprigs. It is enclosed with a complementary flora and fauna botanical border flanked with an inner and outer double guard band. 

Displaying well-balanced architectural elements of naturalistic forms and sensual decadence, this vintage Persian Qum rug beautifully embodies Arts & Crafts style. The overall composition is distinctly reminiscent of the Arts & Crafts movement carpet designs of late nineteenth and early twentieth century England.
