This hand knotted wool distressed antique Persian Shiraz rug features an angular pole medallion with lozenges and extended anchor pendants surrounded by a variety of stylized flowers. Each spandrel is filled with a large-scale octagon, rosettes, s-hooks and is outlined with a saw-tooth border. Barber pole stripes appear in between borders, adding movement to the overall design. Tradition meets tribal elements in this neutral earth-tone carpet in warm earth-tone hues.
