This hand-knotted wool distressed antique Persian Malayer rug features an all-over floral lattice pattern overlaid across an abrashed field. The offset rows of stylized blooms with colorful boteh style curled leaves have a softened graphic appeal. Two carnation meander guard borders in beige and blue flank a simple thin, low-contrast barber pole border. The use of lovely shades of cerulean and coral give the otherwise monochromatic neutral color palette dimension and order.
