Description
72313 Antique Persian Malayer Rug, 03'07 x 14'08.
Warm and rustic style meets unpretentious and simple. This distressed antique Persian Malayer gallery rug features three rhomboid hexagon medallions patterned with Mina Khani and flanked with Ram's Horn pole extensions float in an open abrashed field. Ziggurat mounds echoing the Mina Khani medallions and curled hook motifs run along the inside border reach towards the center. The warm hues from camel hair combined with the rich waves of abrash sweep across the weathered field creating an intimate, worn patina.
Perfect for a hallway, stair landing, open hall or long entry, kitchen, corridor, private library, den, mudroom, study, home office, sitting room, bathroom, grand foyer and designer entryway or it would make a lovely accent to a living room, bedroom, hotel lobby, or vestibule.
