52323 Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug, 03'03 x 03'03.

This small hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features an amulet medallion set with joined serrated edge pendants and four curling acanthus leaves that extend into the bright red field. Eight pointed stars appear beyond each end of the medallion. Spandrels with serrated edge triangles frame the composition. A zigzag guard band surrounds followed by a primary floral border and an outer band of alternating checks in red and beige. This regal little rug makes a grand statement with Baroque style. Warm earth tones complete the effect of welcoming hospitality. Meanwhile light gray and pale fern add interest and depth.
