This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a round scalloped central medallion with palmette pendants floating on an abrashed terra cotta field. Large open blossoms, palmettes, vinery and scrolling acanthus leaves surround the medallion in an elegant, graceful display. The corner spandrels echo the botanical motifs used throughout. Flanked by two floral meander guard borders, the main border features a lovely Herati-style motif that perfectly complements the designs and colors used throughout.
