This hand-knotted wool vintage Oushak gallery rug displays a stair-step central medallion with two cartouche finials filled with an eight-point star covered in palmettes and meandering vines. The saw-tooth edged medallion floats on a sea of burnt orange anchored by ecru spandrels with stair-step edges and end in lotus. The vintage Oushak rug is framed with a botanical border patterned with stylized palmettes and arrows flanked by double guard bands of meandering vines and floral roundels. Rendered in variegated shades of ecru, tan, sand, beige, taupe, burnt orange, mint, olive and light gray. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Turkey. Measures: 07'05 X 12'03.
