51566 Vintage Turkish Prayer Rug, 02'05 x 04'06. 

This hand knotted wool distressed vintage Turkish prayer rug with a triple arch design features two Corinthian columns with a double sided niche mihrab on a weathered and saturated ruby red backdrop. A rectilinear braided-type fretwork band frames the Corinthian columns and stepped mihrab niches. A series of vertical panels unify to create the primary border. It is composed of wide and narrow vertical bands filled with a variety of stylized flowers composed of hyacinths, carnations, rosettes, and leaves reflecting the style form the Ottoman court.
