This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak Yuntdag prayer rug features a mihrab niche with stepped edges and latch hooks. A stylized flower floats in an abrashed burgundy wine field with three tree of life designs with angular hands on hip motifs. Is enclosed with a tribal border flanked with an outer band composed of four petaled flowers. Immersed in Anatolian history and lively colors, this Turkish prayer rug combines simplicity with sophistication.  

Rendered in variegated shades of ruby red, brick red, crimson, cinnamon, paprika, pistachio, celadon, wine, maroon, burgundy, gray, mint, greige, stone gray, slate, and beige. Age Wear and Abrash. Hand knotted wool. Made in Turkey. Measures: 03'01 x 05'05.
