53092 Vintage Turkish Oushak Prayer Rug, 03'11 x 04'10. 

With its luminous warm hues and beguiling beauty, this hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak prayer rug is immersed in Anatolian history. It features a concentric mihrab niche with stepped edges. Above the mihrab, ewers symbolizing purification adorn each corner spandrel. The vintage Turkish rug is enclosed with a repeating stylized floral and leaf bouquet flanked with an inner and outer botanical meander guard band. Though deceptively simple, this beautiful vintage Turkish prayer rug is clearly laced with meaning and cultural significance.
