Warm and inviting, this hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a stepped central medallion patterned inside with a roundel rosette pinwheel lattice floating in an abrashed cut-out field with a double mihrab. The mihrab niche at either end displays a repeating pattern of chevrons dashing horizontally. It is enclosed with a Bergama border flanked with an inner and outer running water meander guard border.
