This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak runner features three hexagonal medallions alternate with small bird-like motifs. Each medallion is filled with a cross motif on a mocha backdrop with curled Ram's Horn motifs created from the wash-out colored field. The three medallions float in an abrashed warm alabaster beige background. Thin mocha-coffee colored outlines with curled Ram's Horn motifs frame the inside of the composition, giving a sense of order and definition. It is enclosed with a variation of running vine border flanked with a washed-out outer guard border composed of stylized leaves.
